Quick answer
Before you confirm a send or swap in My Wallet, read the estimated network fee on screen. That fee goes to the network under its rules—not to “unlock” your wallet. On aggregator swaps, there's also a 0.875% service fee plus network fees. Keep a little of the network’s native fee token unless a gasless path applies.
Network fee vs service fee
| Cost | Who it pays | When you see it |
|---|---|---|
| Network / gas fee | Blockchain validators / network rules | Almost every on-chain action |
| Swap service fee (0.875%) | My Wallet aggregator service | Built-in aggregator swaps |
| Price impact / route effects | Market liquidity—not a “fee line” you can ignore | Swap quotes |
My Wallet shows estimates before confirm. On transfers, open fee details (Info / More as labeled); on swaps, open More for gas, service fee, and route details.
Why fees differ by network
Fee behavior roughly groups like this:
- More predictable patterns — networks such as TON, TRON, and Solana often make common operations easier to estimate (still varies by operation type and resources).
- Market-based fees — Ethereum, many EVM networks, Hyperliquid / HyperEVM, and Bitcoin can move with demand, size, and complexity.
Always treat the confirmation screen as the source of truth. Published typical ranges can drift with network conditions.
What usually costs more
Simple native-coin sends are often cheaper than:
- Token transfers that create accounts or burn extra resources (notable on some TRON and Solana cases)
- Swaps and smart-contract calls
- NFT transfers
- Cross-chain routes (more steps, more ways fees appear)
Congestion raises fees on market-based networks. Waiting or choosing a lower priority (where the UI offers it) can change cost and speed—neither is “risk-free.”
Native fee tokens (and gasless exceptions)
You generally need a small balance of the network’s fee asset (examples include the TON-ecosystem fee unit shown in-app, TRX, SOL, ETH, BNB, HYPE, BTC—follow the label My Wallet shows for your network).
Gasless transfers: Gasless sends are supported on TON and Solana for selected tokens, where the fee can come from the token you send. That is an exception, not a universal rule.
Practical checklist before you confirm
- Right network for the asset and address format.
- Fee estimate visible and acceptable.
- Enough native fee balance (or a documented gasless path).
- For swaps: open fee breakdown—0.875% service + network when using the aggregator.
- Start with a small test to a new counterparty.

Fees are not income
Paying or receiving network fees is not passive income. Lower fees on one chain do not make an asset “safe.” DYOR still applies to tokens and dApps.

FAQ
Does My Wallet keep my network fee?
No. Network fees follow blockchain rules. Aggregator swaps may also show the documented 0.875% service fee—read the breakdown.
Why did a “cheap” chain suddenly cost more?
Operation type, account creation, resource models (for example TRON energy/bandwidth), priority fees, or congestion all play a role—trust the live estimate for typical patterns.
Can I avoid fees entirely?
Not for normal on-chain settlement. Gasless paths exist only for specific sends where My Wallet supports them.
