Zcash

ZEC, the native coin of Zcash, a Bitcoin-derived blockchain where coins can be moved into a shielded pool that hides the sender, the recipient and the amount. The same ZEC moves between transparent and shielded balances, so a holder decides per transaction how much is visible. Zcash launched in 2016 as the first live currency to use zero-knowledge proofs, and it is mined like Bitcoin, with supply capped at 21 million coins.
