Wrapped Ether on Robinhood Chain

WETH, ether in the form of an ordinary ERC-20 token. ETH is the native coin of the chain and predates the token standard everything else uses, so contracts written to handle tokens cannot handle it directly. Wrapping locks ETH in a contract that issues WETH one for one, and unwrapping burns the WETH and releases the ETH, which is what holds the two at the same price. Trading pairs, routers and lending markets are written against WETH for that reason, and every EVM chain runs its own copy of the contract.
