USDT, the most traded dollar stablecoin and the pair most crypto markets quote prices against, issued by Tether against reserves held mainly in US Treasury bills and cash equivalents. On Polygon the token at this address is USDT0, the omnichain deployment of USDT: it is minted one-to-one against USDT locked in a contract on Ethereum and moves between chains over LayerZero, while Tether's own minting and redemption happen on the networks it supports directly.
