Tether USD on BNB Chain

USDT, the dollar unit of crypto trading, quoted on the other side of most pairs and what traders hold between positions. On BNB Smart Chain the token that carries that ticker is Binance-Peg BSC-USD, a BEP-20 contract issued by Binance rather than by Tether Operations, the largest stablecoin issuer. Binance backs it with reserves it holds in public addresses of its own and keeps it at one dollar.
