SFI, the token of Saffron, a protocol that splits what a Uniswap liquidity position will earn into a fixed side and a variable side. The depositor who puts up the liquidity sells the fees it will collect for a premium paid upfront, and whoever pays that premium takes every fee the position earns until the vault matures. Saffron started in October 2020 as a way to tranche Compound lending yield by risk, and its whole supply of 100,000 SFI came out of the liquidity mining that followed.
