POET Technologies

POET Technologies (POET), a Toronto company making optical parts that move AI traffic between machines in data centres. Its Optical Interposer packs lasers, waveguides and detectors onto one wafer-made chip, sold as 800-gigabit and 1.6-terabit optical engines to module makers such as Luxshare and Foxconn Interconnect Technology. It took its name in 2013 from Planar Opto-Electronic Technology. POET on Robinhood Chain is a Robinhood Stock Token, a tokenised debt security issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited and backed by POET Technologies shares held in custody at Alpaca Securities.
