Nano Nuclear Energy (NNE), a New York company designing microreactors small enough to truck to a site, with subsidiaries for enriched fuel and for moving it. It bought its lead design, the gas-cooled KRONOS, out of Ultra Safe Nuclear's bankruptcy in January 2025 and put it before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a construction permit, the first unit planned for the University of Illinois. NNE on Robinhood Chain is a Robinhood Stock Token, a tokenised debt security issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited and backed by Nano Nuclear Energy shares held in custody at Alpaca Securities.
