Global Dollar on Robinhood Chain

USDG, a dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos Digital Singapore, a major payment institution supervised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and in Europe by Paxos Issuance Europe under MiCA, redeemable one for one from Paxos against reserves in segregated accounts. The difference from other dollar tokens is where the interest goes: instead of the issuer keeping the yield on those reserves, the Global Dollar Network pays it out to the platforms that hold and distribute the coin. The network launched in November 2024 with Robinhood, Kraken, Galaxy Digital and Anchorage Digital alongside Paxos.
