BUY, a meme token on Robinhood Chain named after the button Robinhood switched off on 28 January 2021, when it and several other brokers stopped retail buying in GameStop and other squeezed stocks while leaving selling on. Its own site, which states that the token is not affiliated with Robinhood, says it does one thing: it buys. Creator fees claimed from its trading fund a public long position in Robinhood stock, and holders sign a ballot each week on whether to hold that position or take profit into BUY buybacks.
