Bitcoin Cash

BCH, the native coin of Bitcoin Cash, a chain that split away from Bitcoin in August 2017 over how to handle congestion. The argument was block size: Bitcoin Cash raised the limit so more transactions fit into each block and fees stay near zero, at the cost of a chain that grows heavier to store. Supply is capped at 21 million and the mining reward halves on the same schedule it inherited from Bitcoin's code. It split once more in November 2018, when the branch that kept the name parted from what is now Bitcoin SV.
