Aster

ASTER, the token of Aster, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange on BNB Chain and several other networks that earns fees on the trades it matches and offers orders which stay hidden until they fill. Aster was formed in late 2024 by merging Astherus with APX Finance, and APX holders converted into ASTER. Staking rewards are funded by an ASTER buyback from the exchange's daily trading fees plus a fixed ASTER emission each epoch, paying fees in ASTER earns a discount on them, and the token carries the vote over the exchange. It is backed by YZi Labs, the investment firm formerly known as Binance Labs.
