Amazon (AMZN), the largest online retailer outside China and, through AWS, the largest seller of rented computing capacity, earning slim margins on the retail business and most of its profit from AWS, from advertising on its own search results, and from the fees sellers pay to list and ship through it. It began as an online bookstore in 1994, and AWS grew out of infrastructure Amazon built for itself. AMZN on Robinhood Chain is a Robinhood Stock Token, a tokenised debt security issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited and backed by Amazon shares held in custody at Alpaca Securities.
